Systemic coaching

When can coaching be beneficial?

You are facing an important decision and would like to figure out what you really want.

You feel like you are not doing justice to the areas of life that are important to you and wish for a more suitable work-life balance or a better way of combining career, family and being yourself.

You want a safe space to gain clarity about a certain topic, e.g., career direction, desire for children, sexual/romantic orientation.

You are experiencing a conflict in your partnership, friendship or professional life, and you want to clarify your own needs and boundaries, recognise recurring patterns and find a constructive way to deal with it.

You are facing a major change or are already in a period of transition and are looking for more courage and confidence.

You have experienced a loss and wish for gentle support in your grief.

You feel overwhelmed, tend to procrastinate, and wish for more clarity, order, and structure.

You want to learn how to set boundaries with others, strengthen your self-compassion, and improve your resilience.

Despite your professional successes, you feel you do not deserve them and could be "exposed" at any time (impostor phenomenon). You long for a more appreciative view of your resources.
What do I offer?
Systemic coaching based on the person-centered approach offers you something rarely found in life: a space where you can sort through your thoughts and feelings without anyone judging them or offering their opinion. You are the expert on your own needs, experiences, and actions, and by shifting your perspective, you can gain new insights. I offer an open and empathetic ear and gently guide your self-reflection, but I do not advise you. Drawing on my psychological and neuroscientific expertise, my training as a systemic coach, and my professional experience, I structure the coaching process, provide you with new impulses through questions, and offer coaching tools that can help you better understand yourself or reach a decision. These tools might include visualisations using moderation cards, working with images, your values, beliefs, or inner parts. Since not every coaching tool feels equally suitable for everyone, I will continually encourage you to review what best meets your needs and desires throughout the process, allowing us to tailor the coaching to your individual needs.
If this suits you and your needs, I am happy to arrange a free introductory call. I look forward to hearing from you!

Sometimes, issues benefit from a combination of psychological counselling and systemic coaching (for example, in cases of severe stress, it can be helpful to supplement the coaching process with recommendations on stress management). In our introductory call, we will discuss together which approach best suits your needs. During our sessions, I will explain transparently when I am acting as a coach and when as a psychological counsellor.

It is very important to me to emphasise that systemic coaching cannot replace psychotherapy. I also do not make diagnoses. Since it is easy to lose track of things with the abundance of mental health support services available, I recommend reading my short guide to help you navigate the mental health jungle.
